APOLLO MINERALS: Developing an Emerging, Globally Significant, Base Metal Discovery
Apollo Minerals is an exploration company focused on developing its province-scale, near surface zinc-lead, Kroussou project in Gabon.
The Kroussou Project features a 135km strike length, with 23 zinc-lead target prospects which have been identified, of which only six have been drill tested.
The Project has an initial exploration target on six of the 23 zinc-lead target prospects of between 140 and 300 million tonnes at a grade between 2.0% and 3.4% zinc plus lead1; and has the scale potential to be a ‘Super Giant’ deposit.
A strong pipeline of news flow is expected as the Company continues its exploration activities to demonstrate the Project’s province-scale.
Initial exploration will focus on defining sufficient shallow (open-pittable), high grade zinc-lead mineralisation to justify commencement of feasibility studies.
1The potential quantity and grade of the initial Exploration Target is conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to estimate a Mineral Resource. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a Mineral Resource. The Exploration Target has been prepared and reported in accordance with the 2012 edition of the JORC Code.
