Emerging High-Grade Gold & Base Metals Discoveries
Apollo Minerals is an exploration company with three core projects:
1) the high-grade Salanie Gold Project in Gabon;
2) the Belgrade Copper Project in Serbia;
3) the province-scale, near surface zinc-lead, Kroussou Project in Gabon.
A strong pipeline of news flow is expected as the Company continues its exploration activities on each Project.
The Salanie Gold Project is showing visible gold in quartz veining (up to 430g/t) in a historic mining region that has not been explored for 70 years – representing a unique high-grade gold opportunity. Detailed trench mapping and sampling have identified near-surface, gold mineralisation in multiple positions across a substantial interpreted +20m wide quartz-shear system at the A1 Prospect (A1) – one of four prospects identified within the 1.5km Salanie Fault system. Field work is ongoing with drilling expected in Q1 2024.
The Belgrade Copper Project is a highly-prospective sedimentary copper project in the highly sought after CBMP Province of Serbia. Field work is ongoing, aiming for drilling in 2024.
The Kroussou Zinc Project already features an initial exploration target of between 140 and 300 million tonnes at a grade between 2.0% and 3.4% zinc plus lead1; on six of the 23 defined target prospects. Initial exploration will focus on defining sufficient shallow (open-pittable), high grade zinc-lead mineralisation to justify commencement of feasibility studies.
1The potential quantity and grade of the initial Exploration Target is conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to estimate a Mineral Resource. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a Mineral Resource. The Exploration Target has been prepared and reported in accordance with the 2012 edition of the JORC Code.
